Lucy Owens Coaching

An experienced, professional coach and facilitator, with expertise and insight acquired over more than 20 years, I bring energy and enthusiasm to all of my many and varied development engagements.

Now celebrating a wonderful 10th year, the focus of my coaching practice is on helping people to thrive in their working lives, while as a facilitator, I seek to enable strong and trusting relationship building within and across organisations.

Broadly speaking, I work with individuals and public, private, and third-sector organisations in providing the following:

Executive / leadership coaching

Executive / leadership coaching with senior professionals to build confidence and resilience, develop skills, and maximise leadership impact. This powerful programme of sessions provides executives with the crucial time and space to pinpoint and realise development goals, gain clarity on the bigger picture, while still working the detail, work through complex issues, and come up with tangible actions to resolve challenges.

Career coaching

Career coaching with individuals needing help to get their working life started, back on track, or to the next level, or with those who find themselves at a career crossroads and looking for inspiration, encouragement, and support to work out what’s next. My coaching helps my clients to take stock of their situation, think afresh, explore their values, identify their top skills, hatch a plan for their future, and put their plan into action.

Facilitation

The focus of my facilitation work is on building valuable collaborative relationships within and across organisations to help people work together to identify and tackle complex challenges. I lead Action Learning Sets (ALS) that bring people together to focus on untangling issues and coming up with positive next steps. I also design and deliver team development and collaborative working programmes.

Management training and development programmes

I design and deliver bespoke management training and development programmes. These help managers to enhance their skills, confidence, and effectiveness to achieve professional growth goals across a wide range of identified areas of need. These might include handling difficult conversations, managing performance, presenting with panache, and improving team working.
